Responsibilities
Prospect and develop new customer accounts through cold calling, networking, referrals, and in-person visits
Manage and grow existing accounts by identifying new applications and sales opportunities
Build strong, long-term relationships with customers across industrial and commercial markets
Close daily sales opportunities and continuously expand the customer base
Communicate regularly with internal teams and management regarding orders, opportunities, and customer needs
Maintain and grow technical knowledge of performance plastics, products, and applications
Follow up on leads and application-driven opportunities
Contribute to overall branch and team success through collaboration and accountability
Qualification
Required
Minimum 2 years of outside sales experience in industrial distribution, or a related field
Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
Strong relationship-building and communication skills
Comfort working independently in a territory-based, travel-heavy role
Reliable personal vehicle and willingness to travel extensively, including occasional overnight travel
Basic computer proficiency
Positive, team-oriented attitude with a proactive sales mindset
