Communications and Marketing Coordinator
The YMCA of Virginia's Blue Ridge is seeking a Communications and Marketing Coordinator to support their communications and marketing efforts. This role involves creating digital and print materials, managing social media accounts, and assisting with digital marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities
Create and produce high-quality digital and print materials on a regular basis
Assist with the creation, execution, and coordination of digital and print advertising efforts
Support the daily management and content production for approximately 12 social media accounts
Assist in coordination and scheduling of email communications, including specialized newsletters, app notifications, and targeted campaigns
Assist with capturing photos and videos that reflect the YMCA’s mission, programs, and community impact
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Workspace, and Google Analytics; with working knowledge of content management and scheduling tools such as Hootsuite and Asana
Familiarity with key social media platforms and tools, including Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn, YouTube, Linktree, and Bitly
Understanding of videography and video editing best practices
Previous experience in marketing, communications, or a related field required
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across teams and platforms
Comfortable working independently while staying organized, attentive to detail, and able to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines with support from Communications and Marketing Director
Must be able to pass a criminal background check
