Responsibilities
Perform geotechnical engineering tasks related to soils, aggregates, and concrete
Evaluate material properties and compliance with project specifications
Ensure work complies with ODOT requirements and standards
Prepare clear, accurate documentation and reports
Coordinate directly with owners, field personnel, and other team members
Support construction operations through testing, analysis, and recommendations
Work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5 years of experience in the geotechnical engineering field
Familiarity with soils, aggregates, and concrete
Working knowledge of ODOT requirements
Professional Engineer (PE) license required or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe
Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented
Strong communication skills
Preferred
Experience with laboratory equipment and materials testing a plus
