Responsibilities

Key technical stakeholder in the Exploration phase for product, programs, and initiatives, partnering with Product, PD, and Marketing to shape player, fan, and collector experiences
Translate experiential and creative vision into potential technical pathways, treatments, materials, and manufacturing approaches
Be the expert for cutting-edge print technology in the marketplace, and proactively bring forward innovative print technologies, card treatments, and component ideas that enable differentiated, emotionally resonant product experiences
Explore and evaluate how print, plastics, and hybrid manufacturing approaches can support new product concepts, programs, and initiatives
Develop early technical concepts that outline feasibility, creative opportunity, risks, and tradeoffs, helping teams make informed direction-setting decisions
Leverage manufacturing, production, and vendor knowledge to design scalable technical solutions aligned to creative intent and business constraints
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to iterate on concepts and refine technical approaches that serve the desired player and collector experience
Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies across print, plastics, and collectibles, integrating relevant innovations into development efforts
Perform standard TPM responsibilities for print-focused components as projects transition from exploration into development and production
Support manufacturing handoff by establishing core specifications, validating feasibility, and ensuring solutions are production-ready
Partner with Project Management and Operations to ensure innovative solutions can be executed reliably, at scale, and within cost and schedule targets
Partner closely with Product, PD, and Marketing to align technical possibilities with experiential and business goals
Translate technical considerations into clear, actionable guidance for creative and business stakeholders
Support early marketing and brand initiatives by helping design technically grounded experiences and programs that resonate with consumers and collectors

Required

Deep understanding of specialty print technologies, materials, and manufacturing processes relevant to Trading Card Games and collectibles
Working knowledge of plastics and non-card components, with the ability to integrate multiple production methods into cohesive product solutions
Strong ability to operate effectively in ambiguity and early-stage development environments
Skilled at balancing creative ambition with technical feasibility, scalability, cost, and quality
Enjoys collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to realize a shared vision
Ability to step into TPM-style execution when needed, ensuring continuity from concept through production
Strong communication, vendor-partnering, and problem-solving skills
Bachelor's Degree in Print Production, Manufacturing, Design, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
5+ years of experience in print production, manufacturing, or technical product development, ideally within trading cards, collectibles, games, or specialty consumer products
Experience working directly with manufacturing partners and supporting production execution
Regular domestic and international travel required for manufacturing engagement, validation, and partner collaboration
Ability to meet standard physical requirements associated with production and factory environments

Prior experience collaborating with Product or Marketing teams on experience-driven initiatives
