They are seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Technician to support daily plant operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production and building equipment.

Responsibilities
Perform routine building maintenance and repair structural damage to building systems
Disassemble production filling equipment, including fill valves, cylinders, hoppers, and supply hoses
Set up production filling equipment by reinstalling components properly
Learn and apply basic troubleshooting techniques to diagnose and repair equipment issues
Troubleshoot and repair fillers, pumps, tanks, valves, cappers, and conveyor systems
Maintain plant equipment in accordance with SOPs
Repair broken or leaking plumbing to prevent water damage
Repair damaged electrical wiring caused by shortages or severed wires
Order equipment parts using requisition forms and coordinate with maintenance supervisors
Apply preventative maintenance measures to reduce future issues
Identify and correct potential safety hazards
Perform painting and cosmetic repairs when needed
Qualification
Required
Maintenance Mechanic Experience required
Ability to pass a federal background check (no misdemeanors or felonies)
Ability to pass a drug screening
Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
Commitment to safety, accuracy, and teamwork
Preferred
Knowledge of industrial equipment maintenance preferred
