Responsibilities
Build and adapt financial models to analyze investment opportunities primarily using Excel
Conduct market research and prepare investment committee presentations
Seek out and analyze new market trends and make well-informed recommendations to guide investment strategies
Continuously monitor and analyze relevant market conditions
Work closely with asset managers in day-to-day responsibilities with joint venture partners
Assist in quarterly mark-to-market valuation process and investor reporting
Assist in evaluating alternative business plans for existing and future investments
Qualification
Required
2-4 years of related real estate/investment work experience
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling, and ability to communicate financial analyses to key stakeholders in a timely and effective manner
Strong communication skills, including strong proficiency in relationship building and ability to keep all key stakeholders informed throughout the investment process
Some project management skills with ability to prioritize and complete large and small tasks alike
