Responsibilities

You will join a research team and will collaborate with clinical care teams, investigators, data coordinating center teams, patients and families
As a member of the team, you will provide updates on progress of research, subject-related challenges, recruitment strategies, and specific policies and procedures
You will develop and gain competence in the following areas:
Human subjects enrollment and pediatric specific policies
Scientific Concepts and Research Design
Ethical Participant Safety Considerations
Investigational Products Development and Regulation
Clinical Study Operations (GCPs)
Study and Site Management
Regulatory Management (IRBs)
Data Management and Informatics
Leadership and Professionalism
Communication and Teamwork

Qualification

Required

High school diploma or GED is necessary, Bachelor's degree preferred

Preferred

Effective organizational, oral, written, and interpersonal communications skills
Self-starter and ability to work independently as well as with a team
Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
Exceptional ability in handling multiple tasks
Associate or bachelor's degree in health science or an equivalent combination of related education and experience is desirable
An understanding of medical terminology, experience in a large complex health care setting, ability to effectively communicate with staff and faculty of all levels, and knowledge of university policies and procedures is desirable
