Research Fellow

Responsibilities
Perform complex experiments in the fields of bacteriology and immunology. Includes work with molecular biology, protein chemistry, immunoassays and live animals (mice, survival surgery)
Provide scientific input to the design of experimental work and interpretation of data
Guide, manage and supervise laboratory research assistants, students, and research fellows
Self-guidance to learn new methodologies and gain expertise in new scientific areas, as needed
Supervise and manage purchase orders, equipment, and inventories
Supervise and manage the onboarding and certification of laboratory staff
Abide by established lab standards for communication, documentation, organization, and teamwork
Qualification
Required
Minimum: Ph.D
Excel
Preferred
Five years (or more) laboratory experience preferred
