Cherokee Nation is seeking an Intern I for their WIC Public Health program. This role involves providing administrative, clerical, and analytical support to the directorate and assisting with various projects as assigned.

Responsibilities

Provides administrative, clerical, and analytical support to directorate
Applies learned knowledge of real-life business situation
Utilizes applicable computer systems/programs to perform assigned tasks
Assists other staff members in projects as assigned
Researches assigned projects and gather data for assigned project
May produce reports, memos, and other documents
Interacts with applicable elements of the organization
May assist in preparing and presenting presentations
May assist management in coordinating projects
May attend meetings
Other duties may be assigned

Qualification

Spreadsheet softwareWord Processing softwareInternet softwareStandard office equipmentAnalytical support

Required

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or six months related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge of Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software
Must be able to operate standard office equipment and computer software
A valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating may be required by department
