Electrical Engineer

Jobs via Dice is one of the world's largest automotive manufacturers, and they are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer for their Aiken County PSR/LTR Plant. The role involves the design, installation, and continuous improvement of machines and controls to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency in the plant.

Computer Software

Responsibilities

Designing, maintaining, and improving electrical instruments and equipment
Inspecting completed projects to ensure conformance with design standards
Applying principles of electrical theory to engineering projects
Utilizing software for the design and debugging of system hardware
Developing and implementing project schedules and workflows
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure system consistency
Creating specification and design documents
Understanding and ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC)
Analyzing electrical engineering problems and formulating and implementing effective solutions
Conducting research and studies to support the development of new electrical systems and modifications

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or a related field
A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role with a focus on power systems, circuit design, and electrical design
Proficiency in analog and digital electronics
Comprehensive knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability
Ability to communicate technical information effectively
Proficient in the use of design and calculation software
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Proven experience in project management and team leadership

Preferred

Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs drives and servos and power distribution
CAD experience is not required, but engineers are responsible for ensuring that drawings are correct and initiating changes when needed
