Product Marketing Manager

Responsibilities

Plan, direct, or coordinate marketing policies and programs, such as determining the demand for products and services offered by a firm and its competitors, and identifying potential customers
Own a product within the Server Business Unit, including go-to-market strategy, execution, and revenue responsibility
Collaborate with sales and segment teams to ensure effective product positioning, messaging, and sales enablement
Develop plans and messaging for product launches; lead cross-functional product launch initiatives for successful adoption
Build strong relationships with customers and partners to drive successful sell-through of server products
Support the sales team with training and marketing collateral to effectively communicate product value
Lead product migration across multiple generations, ensuring consistent market share growth in targeted verticals
Represent AMD’s interests in internal and external discussions

Required

Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or closely related product, marketing or engineering role
Employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or closely related product, marketing or engineering role
Position requires three (3) years of experience in each of the following: Product Management, including defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap
Product Marketing, highlighting a product to the target audience to drive adoption and usage
Using the New Product Introduction (NPI) process to bring new products to market, from the initial idea to mass production and launch
Developing a Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy, including target markets, messaging, channels, and tactical plans, to ensure a product's successful launch and sustained growth
Conducting research to understand the target market, customer needs, pain points, and competitive landscape of a product
Analyzing data to understand market dynamics, customer behavior, and measure campaign performance
Leveraging Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) to strategically guide a product through its entire lifespan, from initial concept to eventual retirement
