Responsibilities
Business Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs, challenges, and goals. Elicit and document detailed business requirements for data-driven solutions
User Story Development: Create well-defined user stories that clearly articulate the desired functionality and value proposition for data products
Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions
Solution Design and Development: Design data solutions, including mockups and prototypes for visualizations, that meet the business's needs. Utilize design tools such as Figma to create visually appealing and interactive dashboards
Data Governance: Adhere to data governance standards and best practices to ensure data quality, consistency, and security
Data Hygiene and Workflow Analysis: Partner with the Operations teams to identify workflow obstacles impacting data integrity. Analyze data quality issues and propose solutions to improve data accuracy and reliability
Testing Support for Data Solutions: Collaborate with team members to design, execute, and document testing protocols for new and existing data solutions. Provide hands-on support for user acceptance testing (UAT), regression testing, and validation of analytics products, ensuring deliverables meet business requirements and quality standards
End User Training and Adoption: Develop and deliver training sessions to enable users to utilize data solutions effectively. Provide ongoing support and documentation
Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with business stakeholders and foster a data-driven culture
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
7+ years of experience in data analysis and business intelligence
Proven ability to translate technical concepts into clear and understandable business terms
Proven experience designing and executing testing protocols, including UAT, regression testing, and data validation for BI deliverables
Working knowledge of visualization tools such as PowerBI or Tableau
Experience with clinical health systems and/or revenue cycle operations
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Above average documentation skills, with requisite attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in design tools such as Figma or similar software
Experience in creating wireframes and prototypes for data visualizations
Experience with tools such as JIRA and Confluence
