Construction Office Assistant

PrideStaff is currently seeking an Assistant Office Manager for a construction company located in Joliet, IL. The ideal candidate will perform clerical and administrative functions in order to drive company success, including managing payroll, scheduling appointments, and maintaining project files.

Responsibilities

Draft correspondences and other formal documents
Plan and schedule appointments and events
Greet and assist onsite guests
Answer inbound telephone calls
Develop and implement organized filing systems
Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date project files
Manage and input payroll weekly
Maintain certified payroll, tax exempt and enterprise zone certificates
Prepare and manage construction subcontracts, monthly draws and lien waivers
Manage subcontract COI’s, AIAs, WIPs, and related supporting documents
Input and track accounts receivables & payables
Pay all office bills
Manage all union payroll reports, insurance and correspondence necessary for all IBEW locals
Perform all other office tasks as required

Computer skills and typing ability

Previous experience in office administration or other related fields
