3+ years expCEI is seeking a Design Draftsman to support drafting and documentation work for industrial power projects. This role focuses on creating, updating, and maintaining mechanical, civil, and electrical drawings using both manual drafting methods and CADD tools.

Responsibilities
Prepare, maintain, and update technical drawings, station prints, mechanical/civil/electrical circuits, maps, charts, P&IDs, one?lines, and other documentation
Translate designer and engineer sketches into detailed, accurate drawings
Create and revise drawings using MicroStation, AutoCAD, and manual drafting tools
Maintain CADD systems and ensure documentation accuracy
Perform freehand and mechanical lettering
Retrieve, issue, and reproduce original drawings and controlled documents
Draft mechanical, electrical, and civil construction drawings based on field or designer input
Perform additional drafting and documentation tasks as needed
Qualification
Required
3+ years of hands-on drafting experience
Proficiency with MicroStation and AutoCAD
Ability to interpret technical documents, diagrams, drawings, and construction estimates
Strong math, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently or within multidisciplinary teams
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Utilities industry experience required
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Preferred
Associate degree in Drafting/Design preferred
Electrical drafting background preferred (civil/mechanical combination considered)
