Facilities Support Technician

The Parking Spot is a leading near-airport parking company with over 25 years in business. They are seeking a Facilities Support Technician responsible for maintaining clean facilities and ensuring safety compliance while providing excellent service to guests.

Parking

Responsibilities

Sweeps, mops, and cleans all lobbies and offices, as needed; walks all facilities daily
Maintains a clean and pleasant environment inside the facilities; empties all trash cans and picks up trash around the facility, as needed
Check conditions of safety items, such as shuttles, gate arms, lot security, and submit requests for repairs or maintenance and reports to the Facility Manager, as needed
Report any unknown, observed or suspected violations of company policy, safety hazards or any unusual occurrence to the Facility Manager in a timely manner
Cooperates with all team members to provide the best possible service to all internal and external guests
Helps in other capacities and in other departments, as needed
Inventories and keeps track of all maintenance supplies and orders supplies, as needed
Has general knowledge of, shuttle maintenance repairs, utility rooms and revenue control equipment
Performs additional duties as reasonably requested by Management, especially during downtimes

Qualification

General maintenance experienceHousecleaning experienceSupervisory experienceEnglish language proficiency

Required

High school education or equivalent
Previous housecleaning or general maintenance experience
Currently holds, or is able to obtain, all applicable licenses or badges as required by governing authorities to operate a commercial vehicle, including a valid driver's license
Must be willing to take a physical and pass as a certified Interstate driver as part of the selection process as required by airport, federal DOT and/ or state regulations
Can read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records in compliance with the DOT regulations that require these skills
Must be able to lift and move 50 pounds or more regularly; and work outside in all weather conditions for majority of work shift
