Industrial Electrician 2nd Shift

They are seeking an Industrial Electrician for a permanent position at an aerospace manufacturer in Dover, NJ, responsible for repairing and installing electrical systems, troubleshooting electrical failures, and training less experienced personnel.

Responsibilities
Locate and repair electrical failures and malfunctions on equipment such as heaters, elements, fuses, lights, contacts, etc
Repair and install electrical systems and equipment such as motors, transformers, wiring, alarm systems, automatic control systems, etc., and rebuild motors including bearings and armatures
Understand and apply schematics and electrical blueprints in the troubleshooting of electrical systems, programmable controllers and associated systems
Assist in the training of less experienced electrical personnel
Perform all new electrical installations working from schematics and/or blueprints
Complete and abide by all safety procedures and training classes provided as standard to all Maintenance colleagues within the department
Perform all duties of an 'A' Electrician when necessary
Frequently interact with manufacturing personnel internally and with contractors and suppliers externally
Electrical repair experience, particularly with 480V systems
Ability to understand and apply schematics and electrical blueprints
Experience with robotic controllers, pneumatic and hydraulic modules, electromechanical sensing, automated systems, PLCs, and industrial controllers
Proficiency in troubleshooting, pulling wire, bending conduit, VFD installation, and electrical wiring
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 6 years of work experience in a manufacturing environment in an Electrician role
US citizenship to meet Export Control Regulations
PLC experience is a plus
Ability to interpret blueprints
Effective communication skills to convey program details and instructions to operators
