Remx is seeking Clinical Transfer Coordinators to support a hospital-based Patient Transfer Center in Knoxville. In this role, you will coordinate patient transfers from referring facilities to higher levels of care, ensuring efficient and safe transitions.

Responsibilities

Coordinate incoming patient transfer requests from referring facilities
Communicate with physicians, nurses, hospitals, and ambulance services
Enter patient status updates and transfer orders as directed by physicians
Initiate bed placement and support appropriate patient flow
Ensure accurate documentation and timely progression of transfer requests
Maintain organization and efficiency in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment

Required

Active EMT, Paramedic, or LPN license
Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of levels of care
Excellent communication and coordination skills
Ability to remain calm, organized, and decisive in urgent situations
Comfort with electronic documentation systems and frequent phone communication
