Hydraulics Technician

Responsibilities
Conduct installation related duties under supervision, including routine work, troubleshooting, light maintenance, modification, and repair work
Complete all upfitting on NJ Turnpike Snow Plows, including mounting dump bodies and attaching plows
Ensure all installation work complies with customer requirements and company standards daily
Inspect hydraulic systems for leaks, wear, and damage; perform necessary repairs or replacements
Test hydraulic components and systems for proper functionality and pressure requirements
Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and any issues encountered
Perform chassis work and other modifications as per customer requests
Crimp fittings on hoses and install pumps
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work orders to complete tasks accurately
Assist in diagnosing and resolving hydraulic system malfunctions quickly and efficiently
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Qualification
Required

Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and handle continuous lifting of lightweight materials
Preferred
Associate Degree from a Vocational/Trade school or equivalent work experience preferred
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and strong problem-solving skills
