Responsibilities
Set up and operate a variety of CNC equipment, including mills and lathes
Experienced with the fixturing and machining of castings and welded fabrications
Prepare CNC machine for production by selecting, installing, and aligning tooling, fixtures, and work holding devices
Input, load, or adjust CNC programs
Manage multiple tasks, adhering to strict deadlines and commitments
Interpret a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables
Willingness to work overtime or shift work if needed
Qualification
Required
At least 2 years of experience in operating and setting up a CNC machine
15 years of experience operating CNC mills or lathes
Lift up to 50 lbs. safely
Must possess basic math skills to calculate weight and basic reading skills to read labels and work instructions
Familiarity with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM)
Strong understanding of machining processes, cutting tools, speeds, and feeds
High degree of attention to detail required
