Responsibilities
Providing time, operational support to various teams for the operation and maintenance of Ground and Space system software and equipment
Providing system maintenance support for a large system of computers (Linux environment), associated switching, network, communication circuits, and equipment
Ensuring system Ground and Space functionality during operations and testing environments
Qualification
Required
Knowledge/experience in Linux
Must be able to support 24x7 operations environment
Security+ certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire)
System troubleshooting skills
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work as a member of a team in a dynamic environment
Active SECRET clearance
Must be a US Citizen; this position requires a government security clearance
Preferred
Active TS/SCI security clearance
Experience with Linux shell scripting
Background in technology, engineering, software, hardware, system, or network administration
Satellite systems experience
Experience with large complex systems
System documentation and program lifecycle experience
