Responsibilities
Perform maintenance, tackling, and configuring of phones and associated peripherals on Avaya and Cisco Systems
Perform sustainment of in-room technology including WIFI, TIMELOX, and GPON equipment
Required to install and maintain all layer 1 infrastructure
Proficiency with layer 1 fiber and copper test equipment
Perform other tasks as assigned by management or lead technician
Additional Personal Protective Equipment (face shields, goggles, refillable hand sanitizers, etc.) may be required
Qualification
Required
Telephony experience
Layer 1 experience
Knowledge of Cisco/Avaya voice systems and T1/Data circuits
Ability to terminate and solve CAT6a cabling
Knowledge of passive optical network (PON) and data network technologies
Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience with Cisco and/or Avaya environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Valid Florida state driver's license
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
Proficiency in standard office software programs and mobile electronic devices
Preferred
Associate degree or equivalent is preferred
Certification on Avaya or Cisco is preferred
