Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with our advanced machine learning team to define, deliver, and scale next-generation personalized experiences across all News & Entertainment products
Translate complex ML frameworks into actionable strategies that drive user engagement, retention, and satisfaction
Prioritize and communicate opportunities to enhance content recommendations and dynamic experiences
Drive the full lifecycle of A/B and multivariate experiments, from ideation and requirements gathering to launch, measurement, and optimization
Identify high-impact use cases that align to OKRs and user needs, develop test plans, and ensure rigorous statistical methodology
Write and communicate product requirements effectively to developers, designers, and stakeholders
Maintain documentation, issue resolution, change requests, and change management
Leverage data-driven insights to inform hypotheses, validate business impact, and champion a culture of continuous learning and improvement
Spearhead the integration and adoption of experimentation and personalization tools in partnership with engineering, design, analytics, and product teams—both within the News & Entertainment alliance and the broader streaming organization
Serve as the connective tissue ensuring seamless workflows and robust capabilities, and seek process improvements throughout the product development lifecycle for solution delivery
Conduct hands-on data analysis to surface actionable insights, track experiment performance, and refine product strategy
Define and monitor key metrics and OKRs, communicating outcomes and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Champion a user-centric mindset, balancing empathy for diverse audiences with a rigorous approach to complex product challenges
Synthesize qualitative and quantitative feedback to anticipate user needs, remove friction points, and deliver meaningful improvements at scale
Qualification
Required
7 years or more of experience in product management, with a proven track record in experimentation, A/B testing, and personalization—preferably for digital content, news, entertainment, or streaming products
Strong technical aptitude and hands-on experience with experimentation platforms and data analytics tools
Familiarity with applied machine learning frameworks and best practices for recommendation systems and content personalization
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization, driving consensus and delivering results
Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complexity and deliver pragmatic solutions
Outstanding written and oral communication skills, capable of influencing at all levels and translating technical concepts for diverse audiences
Passion for news, entertainment, or media and creating transformative user experiences at scale
A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, statistics, business, media or a related field from a four-year accredited college or university
