Responsibilities
Build data pipelines and automations across multiple platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP, on-prem)
Design and implement medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold layers) for data systems
Work with Azure stack when needed (Power Automate, Data Factory, Synapse, Dataverse)
Build workflow automations using n8n, Make, Power Automate, or client-preferred tools
Integrate APIs, databases, and data sources across different technology stacks
Handle enterprise security and compliance requirements for regulated industries
Work directly with client IT teams to understand infrastructure
Pivot between projects with different tech requirements
Document data flows, architectures, and technical solutions
Qualification
Required
3+ years experience as a data engineer or similar role
Strong foundation in data architecture – medallion/lakehouse patterns, ETL/ELT, data modeling
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and their data services
Can build workflow automations (Power Automate, n8n, Airflow, etc.)
Solid coding skills – Python, SQL, scripting languages
API development and integration experience
Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance
Comfortable learning new platforms quickly
Good communicator for direct enterprise client interaction
Preferred
Experience with multiple cloud platforms
Azure knowledge (current immediate need)
Background in regulated industries (financial services, healthcare)
Databricks, Snowflake, or modern data platform experience
CI/CD, DevOps, infrastructure-as-code
Consulting or agency experience across different clients
