Marketing & Advertising

Responsibilities

Develop and execute end-to-end SEO strategies for local and service-based businesses
Independently perform:
Technical SEO audits (site structure, indexation, sitespeed, schema, crawlability)
On-page + content optimization
Local SEO & Google Business Profile optimization
GEO / AI-search optimization (AI Overviews, brand mentions, citations)
SEO reports to show work performed and outcomes
Senior Level Competitive Analysis
Create SEO roadmaps that tie directly to lead generation (not vanity metrics)
Produce client-ready deliverables and present them to the client in meetings
Identify priorities and low-hanging fruit without being told
Work asynchronously with minimal oversight

Qualification

Required

5+ years hands-on SEO experience (agency or consulting preferred)
Proven success with local SEO (multi-location is a plus) and international SEO
Strong understanding of search intent, topical authority, and entity SEO
Comfortable optimizing for Google + AI search (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, etc.)
Fluent in Google Search Console
Fluent in GA4
Fluent in GTM
Fluent in Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc
Understanding of indexing, canonicals, redirects, site architecture, etc
Ability to diagnose issues fast and explain fixes simply
Schema knowledge required (JSON-LD)
Ability to create and direct SEO content templates
Ability to create blog strategy tied to rankings + key events
Experience in publishing and design of content
Understanding of how to optimize for featured snippets and AI citations
Knowledge of balancing SEO + UX + conversion
Expert in Google Business Profile optimization
Experience with service area businesses
Knowledge of review strategy & local authority signals
Ability to spot and fix GBP issues without escalation
Very comfortable with Ahrefs and/or Semrush
Very comfortable with Google Search Console
Very comfortable with GA4, GTM & Looker Studio
Very comfortable with Google Sheets
Very comfortable with SEO validation tools (schema validators, page speed tools)
Very comfortable with AI tools for SEO
Ability to propose solutions without waiting for instructions
Ability to document thinking clearly
Ability to hit deadlines or communicate early
Understanding that 'done' means client-ready
Respect for brand voice and strategic direction
Strong problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills and great in meetings with clients and others
Highly organized and thorough
