Responsibilities

Coordinate with the Design, Product engineering, CAD, and reliability engineering teams to gather product performance, reliability, and mechanical data for customer use
Own datasheets displayed on the Marki website
Understand the theory behind RF/Microwave testing and know how to run component level tests including but not limited to S-parameters, Noise Figure/Temperature, Conversion Loss, Power Compression, Harmonic Generation, Intermodulation Distortion, Spur Generation, and Transient Response Time
Generate test data for all datasheet parameters as well as specific customer requested measurements covering DC to >125GHz
Troubleshoot test and measurement issues including equipment setup, calibration and test conditions to confirm that testing is performed accurately
Creatively solve characterization problems with systematic solutions
Create and maintain advanced measurement setups such as phase noise, RF power handling, temperature varying, and time domain measurements
Manage priorities and communicate regularly with VP of Applications Engineering on progress and challenges
Promote an ethics-based business culture in the organization

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics; or equivalent combination of education and experience
1-2 years experience working with RF products
Experience in technical customer facing roles is a strong plus
Strong device physics background and good understanding of RF components (Mixers, Passives, Amplifiers, Switches)
Hands on experience working with RF and Electronic Test Equipment (Network Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator, Power Meter, Power Supplies, Oscilloscope, Multimeter, etc.) to characterize high frequency devices and modules
Experience with microelectronics prototyping, interpreting assembly drawings and engineering specifications and a good knowledge of electronic components
Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
Commitment to work with a hands-on approach in a team atmosphere

Preferred

Experience in building software based tools is a plus
Exposure to mechanical drafting tools in general and AutoCAD in particular is a plus
