California Virtual Academies (CAVA) is seeking a Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition to lead their talent strategy during a time of growth and innovation. This role involves partnering with leaders to build sustainable pipelines of educators and staff while advancing the organization's talent acquisition and retention strategy in a virtual environment.

Responsibilities
Lead and elevate CAVA’s talent strategy
Shape how the organization attracts, develops, and retains a high-performing workforce
Partner with leaders across the organization to build strong, sustainable pipelines of educators and staff
Advance the design and implementation of the organization’s talent acquisition and retention strategy
Attract, hire, and retain exceptional talent across a virtual, mission-driven environment
Help strengthen and scale the recruitment team and overall function by balancing strategic input with hands-on execution
Qualification
Required
Experience in talent acquisition and recruitment strategies
Strong leadership skills to manage and elevate the talent acquisition team
Ability to partner with organizational leaders to build sustainable talent pipelines
Experience in developing and implementing talent acquisition and retention strategies
Strong understanding of virtual education and student-centered learning
Ability to balance strategic input with hands-on execution
Flexibility to work in a virtual environment
California HR experience strongly preferred
