Play & Learning Specialist
Soar Autism Center is dedicated to enhancing the lives of children on the autism spectrum. The Play & Learning Specialist, also known as a Behavior Technician or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), will work one-on-one with children aged 2–6, using play-based approaches to teach new skills and support growth.

Responsibilities
Work one-on-one with children aged 2–6 in our clinic, using play to teach new skills and support growth
Implement therapy plans designed by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) using play-based ABA principles
Encourage social, communication, and learning skills through engaging activities and routines
Support and partner with families by sharing updates and celebrating progress
Participate in ongoing training and supervision to grow your skills and maintain RBT certification
Qualification
Required
High school diploma, or equivalent, is required
Ability to achieve and maintain RBT certification within first 6 weeks of employment (Soar provides paid training)
Reliable transportation to training location and local center; punctuality is essential
Physical requirements: ability to sit/kneel on the floor, lift up to 50 lbs., and move quickly to support a child's needs
Comfort using computers and tablets for session notes
Team-oriented mindset and willingness to learn
Preferred
Strong preference for enrollment in or completion of a degree program (bonus for Child Development, Psychology, or related fields)
Excitement about working with children; prior experience with kids in any setting (teaching, child care, coaching, etc.) is a plus
