Responsibilities
Company recruiting efforts including, but not limited to, ad and job boards copy and placement; identification of possible candidates for internal transfers; initial screening and interviewing of applicants; conduct reference and background checks
Actively search for potential candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and networking events. Develop employee referral programs to attract talent
Evaluate resumes, conduct initial screenings, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers. Prepare interview questions and assessing candidates' qualifications and fit for the company culture
Writing and reviewing job descriptions to ensure they accurately reflect the roles and responsibilities. Manage job postings across various platforms to attract suitable candidates
Responsible for managing Ops managers requisition requests to establish recruiting requirements for each open position. Review job description with manager to define position requirements
Compose and post internal / external job postings
Create and maintain phone, in-person, and prescreen questions
Determine applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, verifying references, schedules qualified applicants with appropriate manager
Prepare Offer of Employment and upon acceptance, sends New Hire packet and conducts pre-employment screening
Set appointment for onboarding with employees and collect / verify New Hire documents are complete; coordinates onboarding / ongoing training with other HR team members to meet success goals
Review all New Hire paperwork, scans into appropriate HRIS system and sends originals to Corporate
Compile information and sends KPI and New Hire report to Finance and HR management weekly
Once candidates are selected, assist in the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires into the organization
Help build and maintain a strong employer brand by promoting the company culture and values to attract top talent
Qualification
Required
4-6 years of previous experience in recruitment or human resources is typically required, with a focus on talent acquisition
Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with candidates and collaborating with hiring managers
The ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously and maintain attention to detail is crucial
Possess strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders
Experience working for and as a federal government contractor
Experience applying the McNamara-O'Hara Service Contract Act (SCA), Service Contract Labor Standards (SCLS), and Department of Labor wage determinations to workforces and maintaining compliance
Proficiency in MS Office suite, general knowledge of mobile device use and applications
Interest in pursuing additional training in Recruiting practices and Human Resources
Must be a US citizen
Valid and current driver's license is required
Preferred
A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is often preferred. However, relevant experience can sometimes substitute for formal education
An active/current DoW Secret clearance or higher or the ability to successfully meet the requirements to obtain one sponsored by our company
Referenceable organizational skills demonstrating experience supporting an organization with over 200 employees
