Responsibilities
You will litigate cases from intake through resolution, including investigation, discovery, motion practice, hearings, trial, and appeal where appropriate
You will work directly with clients, community advocates, and partner organizations
You will help identify patterns of institutional harm and develop litigation strategies that aim for durable change, not one-off fixes
You will also contribute to impact decisions: when to settle, when to escalate, and when a case must proceed to create precedent or force institutional reform
Qualification
Required
Active license and good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction required
Preferred
Experience in civil rights, disability law, employment, education, housing, public benefits, or public-interest litigation is strongly preferred
Familiarity with ADA and related statutory frameworks is highly valued
Lived experience with disability or marginalization is welcomed and valued
