Junior Project Coordinator (Entry Level - Will Train) - Bilingual Required

MDC Roofing is seeking a bilingual Project Assistant. This role is primarily office-based but requires a hands-on individual eager to learn the roofing industry, with responsibilities including technical communication and material logistics.

Responsibilities

Safety First: Must have an unwavering commitment to OSHA standards and the proper use of PPE (harnesses, safety lines)
Technical Communication: You will act as the bridge between Project Managers, crews, and clients. You must be able to clearly relay complex instructions. Bilingual fluency (Spanish/English) is imperative
Office & Field Balance: You need to be comfortable using Excel and Word for tracking tasks, but also comfortable with heights (rooftops, ladders, scaffolding) for site visits
Math & Measurement: Proficiency in basic math is required to calculate roofing areas and measure materials for precise installation
Tool Proficiency: Must be willing to learn and handle basic hand/power tools (roofing nailers, hammers, utility knives, measuring tapes)
Material Logistics: You must have a reliable truck. Delivering materials is integral to this position
Reliability: Punctuality is critical. We need someone who stays productive throughout the day without constant supervision (Initiative)
We Will Teach You: Observation of deficiencies and quality control
Knowledge of roofing systems (TPO, Metal, Sustainable materials)
Travel Requirements: Travel to local project locations is required daily
Occasional travel to the Dallas area (with overnight stays)
All travel expenses and fuel are paid by the company
