Trellix Admin / Engineer
TEKsystems is a leading provider of business and technology services, and they are seeking a Trellix Admin / Engineer to support federal cybersecurity operations. This role involves maintaining, administering, and optimizing Trellix security solutions, with a primary focus on dashboard creation and operational support.

Responsibilities
Provide day‑to‑day administration and tuning of Trellix security tools (firewalls, sensors, endpoint protection, and other components within the Trellix ecosystem)
Assist cybersecurity engineering teams with threat detection, triage support, and policy updates
Maintain compliance with federal cybersecurity requirements, including logging, reporting, and system hygiene
Administer and maintain Trellix‑based security platforms, ensuring continuous health, visibility, and functionality
Design, build, and enhance dashboards, alerts, and visualizations within Trellix tools to support SOC analysts, engineers, and leadership
Monitor Trellix systems for anomalies, operational failures, and performance issues; provide timely remediation
Apply IAT‑II level cybersecurity best practices in accordance with DoD and organizational standards
Support configuration updates, tuning, and maintenance cycles
Collaborate with network, system, and cybersecurity teams to ensure Trellix tools integrate smoothly with broader enterprise security infrastructure
Assist in documentation, runbooks, and operational processes related to Trellix toolsets
Qualification
Required
TS/SCI clearance (fully adjudicated)
IAT‑II baseline certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA‑Security, GSEC, etc.)
Experience performing administrative tasks within Trellix or similar enterprise security platforms (e.g., McAfee, FireEye, Endpoint Security suites)
Cyber security, Trellix
Preferred
Previous experience supporting federal cybersecurity environments
Familiarity with dashboarding, security reporting, and alert creation
Strong understanding of endpoint protection, firewalls, and threat detection practices
Ability to interface with engineers and mission‑critical stakeholders
