Responsibilities
Conduct qualitative and quantitative chemical analyses of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products
Develop and optimize formulations, testing procedures, and analytical methods to ensure quality and efficiency
Maintain accurate and detailed records of experiments, data, and results following laboratory and regulatory standards
Perform analysis on raw materials and finished products using chromatography instrumentation such as HPLC, GC and TLC
Perform analysis on raw materials and finished products using spectrophotometric
Write technical documents such as SOPs, Calibration reports, Validation Reports and audits
Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot process or product issues and provide technical support
Qualification
Required
Able to work in the US
Bachelor's degree in chemistry or other science discipline
Proven experience working in a laboratory or manufacturing environment (experience in analytical or formulation chemistry preferred)
Proficiency in analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV-Vis spectroscopy, or titration methods
Strong understanding of laboratory safety standards and regulatory compliance (OSHA, EPA, GMP, ISO)
Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented with strong documentation and organizational abilities
Preferred
Chemist Lab Tech experience preferred
