Accounting Manager
Concorde, Inc is seeking a detail-oriented, experienced Accounting Manager to oversee and manage their organization's accounting operations. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial reporting, while leading a team and collaborating with various departments to improve financial performance.

Responsibilities
Oversee the invoicing process, ensuring invoices are accurate and sent out in a timely manner
Manage collections for overdue accounts, including following up on outstanding payments and escalating issues as needed
Review and resolve billing discrepancies, customer disputes, and credit issues
Develop and implement best practices to reduce DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) and improve cash flow
Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and Finance teams to resolve discrepancies and improve overall customer experience
Partner with the Finance team to reconcile AR balances, close month-end, and ensure accurate financial reporting
Work closely with legal and collections agencies for collection efforts on delinquent accounts
Assist Controller in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and other regulatory requirements
Conduct variance analysis and provide recommendations for improving financial performance
Prepare and maintain regular reports on AR aging, cash collections, and bad debt provisions
Analyze AR trends, identify potential risks, and make recommendations to senior management for process improvements
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including aging reports and collections efficiency
Ensure proper delegation of responsibilities and work quality assurance within the accounting department
Work with the Controller to design, implement, and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial reporting
Ensure compliance with accounting policies, corporate procedures, and external regulations
Identify opportunities to streamline and improve accounting processes and systems
Lead efforts to automate and enhance the efficiency of financial reporting and other accounting functions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role
Experience in managing financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls
Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
High ethical standards and integrity
Proactive, organized, and able to work independently and as part of a team
Strong decision-making and conflict resolution skills
