Patient Account Specialist

The Patient Account Specialist will be responsible for answering incoming calls related to eligibility, benefits, claims, coverage, and authorization of services, while also problem-solving and addressing claim payment questions.

Responsibilities
Answering incoming phone calls via ACD phone system
Provide eligibility, benefits, claim, and referral status depending on their queue
Assist in resolving issues for providers as they relate to claims, authorization, and eligibility inquiries
Qualification
Required
Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS codes
Experience working with HCFA1500 and UB04 billing forms
Precertification knowledge
Inbound call experience
High School Diploma/GED
Preferred
Remote experience is a plus!
