This role is essential for maintaining financial integrity across custom residential and commercial projects and involves managing day-to-day accounting functions.

Responsibilities
Process and record daily accounting transactions including A/P, A/R, and general ledger entries
Assist with monthly and year-end close procedures and reconciliations
Track project costs and support budget vs. actual reporting
Support payroll reporting, time tracking, and employee expense reimbursements
Coordinate with vendors regarding billing discrepancies and payment schedules
Assist with preparation of financial statements and internal reports
Maintain organized digital records in accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite)
Collaborate with project managers to ensure job costing accuracy
Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and internal controls
Support annual tax preparation and coordination with external CPA firms
Qualification
Required
3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in construction or project-based environments
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Proficiency with NetSuite, Excel, and cloud-based accounting platforms
Solid understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
High level of discretion when handling confidential financial data
Preferred
Experience with construction accounting, job costing, or AIA billing (preferred, not required)
