Michigan Medicine is one of the largest health care complexes in the world, and they are seeking Biomedical Engineering Technicians to repair, calibrate, and maintain medical equipment and support systems. The role involves whole-house coverage at various locations on the campus and includes responsibilities for both corrective and preventative maintenance on a wide variety of medical equipment.

Responsibilities
Work performed is documented in the work order database system called AIMS
Additional duties include identifying and preparing parts and materials necessary for repairs and preventive maintenance on assigned devices
Cross-training for other Biomedical Engineering Technicians for expanded backup support is also required
Qualification
Required
An associate degree in biomedical engineering technology or equivalent Military training is required
Knowledge and experience with advanced analog and digital electronics
Minimum of eight years of experience repairing and maintaining medical equipment, preferably in a hospital environment
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
