BottleDrop Customer Service Associate 2 - Tigard
Oregon Beverage Recycling Cooperative is committed to ensuring that no resource goes to waste. They are seeking a BottleDrop Customer Service Associate 2 who will deliver superior customer service at the BottleDrop Redemption Center while maintaining its appearance and acting as the Person-in-Charge in the Supervisor's absence.

Responsibilities
Support the BottleDrop Supervisor and management to ensure a safe and positive work environment
Cash handling
Consistently demonstrate following company policies as outlined in handbooks and training materials
Support BottleDrop Supervisor as the Person-in-Charge when Supervisor is off site
Complete Injury Reporting Protocols as needed
Assist in training and oversight of BottleDrop Team Members
Operate, troubleshoot and maintain all Front of House equipment
Escalate equipment repair and/or IT issues when necessary
Perform the functions of a Retail Lead as needed
Perform the functions of a BottleDrop Team Member as needed
Track and report daily activities of Redemption Center by using proper forms and procedures
Adhere to OSHA Safety Standards and OBRC policies
Adhere to proper PPE (safety glasses, hearing protection, hand protection) usage in designated areas of RC
Other job duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED education required
1+ years' supervisory experience, preferably in the retail industry with cash handling required
Be familiar with OBRC Employee Handbook and BottleDrop Policy and Procedures
Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with team, management, customers and internal departments of OBRC
Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate professionally at all levels with internal and external business partners
Ability to prioritize and multi-task
Computer literacy and experience with Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, and Excel
Ability to operate manual/electric pallet jacks after training/certification
Ability to operate powered floor scrubber after training/certification
Ability to work a flexible schedule to accommodate business needs
Work outdoors in various temperatures/conditions
Exposure to industrial equipment with moving mechanical parts
Occasional exposure to odors of empty beverage containers
Noise levels in designated areas of the redemption center require the use of approved hearing protection
Must be able to frequently lift/carry up to 30lbs
Must be able to occasionally lift/carry up to 50 lbs
Push/pull 50+ lbs. frequently (wheeled bag racks)
Talking and hearing is frequently required
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
Must be able to stand and walk
Must be able to bend/stoop/crouch/squat
Must be able to use arms/wrists/hands/grasp
Must be able to occasionally climb and balance
