Responsibilities
Build and maintain a synchronized master production schedule across all upstream manufacturing lines
Align upstream output with downstream assembly requirements, takt times, and customer demand
Balance capacity, labor, equipment availability, and material constraints across multiple sites
Adjust schedules proactively based on demand changes, supply disruptions, or operational constraints
Ensure upstream production cadence supports downstream throughput and minimizes bottlenecks
Analyze capacity constraints across multiple facilities and recommend load balancing strategies
Support standardization of scheduling processes across all sites
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5 years of experience in production planning or scheduling in a manufacturing environment
Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Epicor, etc.)
Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel or planning software capabilities
Understanding capacity planning, material flow, and manufacturing processes
Familiarity with lean manufacturing, takt time, and flow-based production principles
Excellent communication and cross functional collaboration abilities
Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced, multi-site environment
High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Operations Management, Business, or related field
Experience supporting multi site or multi state operations
Background in environments with upstream manufacturing feeding downstream
