Information Security Analyst - ITS3
Minnesota IT Services is the information technology agency for the State of Minnesota, and they are seeking an Information Security Analyst to join their Enterprise Security team. The role involves providing secure technical support, implementing information security solutions, and performing security monitoring and auditing functions within the Department of Corrections.

Responsibilities
Provide secure technical support, problem resolution and implementation of information security solutions
Perform security monitoring, reporting, and auditing functions
Implement security solutions within the Department of Corrections
Liaison with the Enterprise Security Office to progress strategic initiatives at the Line of Business and develop internal agency security functionality
Qualification
Required
Minimum of three (3) years of IT related experience in an IT related field that includes direct experience using information security tools
Experience performing security assessments of technologies using current security frameworks
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a manner that facilitates mutual understanding
Customer-focused approach grounded in active listening, empathy, and solution-oriented problem-solving to deliver positive user experiences
Education in Information Technology (IT) or an IT related field may substitute for experience as follows: a master's degree for eighteen (18) months of experience; a bachelor's degree for one (1) year; and an associate's degree for six (6) months
Preferred
Ability to anticipate, and plan work tasks as well as follow direction and guidance from others
Ability to read and interpret detailed technical information
Security related certifications such as Security+, CISSP, CISM
Ability to be sensitive to and respectful of the cultural and other differences that will be encountered when interacting with coworkers and in serving customers
