The Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations within a distribution facility, focusing on team leadership, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
Lead daily team huddles and safety meetings
Oversee inventory, including special‑order parts and issue tracking
Train team members and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure workflows follow standard operating procedures
Optimize labor resources and review open order reports
Perform quality control checks and support warehouse associates and drivers
Approve payroll, conduct performance reviews, and manage facility/equipment maintenance
Conduct physical inventories and attend weekly management meetings
Maintain communication across departments and assist with operational workload
Manage vendor relationships and coordinate team appreciation events
Provide coaching, development plans, and annual performance reviews
Reinforce a culture of safety, teamwork, and operational excellence
Ensure compliance with operating procedures, legal standards, and IT policies
Maintain open communication with team members, peers, and leadership
Qualification
Required
Experience with automotive parts, warehouse management, or similar environments preferred
Ability to meet background check, drug screen, and driving record requirements
Strong attendance, reliability, and communication skills
Knowledge of WMS/TMS/ERP systems and proficiency with standard office software
Strong time-management, problem-solving, and adaptability skills
Experience operating powered industrial equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks)
Preferred
Bachelor's degree or trade certification preferred
