They are seeking a Clinical Faculty Psychologist to engage in clinical, research, and teaching activities within the TEACCH Autism Program, focusing on autism care and education across the lifespan.

Responsibilities

Maintaining a diagnostic and treatment caseload of autistic clients across the lifespan consistent with faculty expertise
Supervising trainees, providing consultation, and training of other professionals locally, nationally, and internationally
Engaging in community-based research activities with current research projects covering the lifespan from promoting access to care for Black toddlers, transition to adulthood interventions, and mental health intervention and services research for autistic adults and older adults
Providing clinical services on an intervention trial, evaluating assessment data from a research database of more than 14,000 individuals diagnosed by TEACCH, and/or pursuing independent research

Required

Completion of an APA-accredited Ph.D./PsyD in clinical, school, or related doctoral program
Completion of an APA-accredited internship
Candidates must be licensed or licensed eligible as a psychologist in the state of North Carolina
Candidates must have previous clinical training and experience in the assessment and treatment of autistic individuals

Preferred

Prior experience in academic medical setting and/or in a high-performing clinical team
