Responsibilities
Assist in preparing estimates and material take-offs for Sheet Metal ductwork projects
Review and interpret mechanical blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
Utilize electronic take-off tools, such as FastEST/FastDUCT or similar Sheet Metal estimating software
Conduct electronic measurements and calculations accurately and efficiently
Collaborate with senior estimators to learn company processes and industry standards
Communicate with internal teams to support project bidding efforts
Maintain organized documentation and complete tasks in a timely manner
Qualification
Required
Basic proficiency in Outlook and Excel
Familiarity with Bluebeam and Adobe Acrobat
Ability to read and understand mechanical blueprints and specifications
Highly motivated and eager to learn electronic take-off processes
Reliable transportation and ability to work 100% on-site in Farmingdale
Preferred
Experience with FastEST/FastDUCT or similar Sheet Metal take-off/estimating programs preferred
