Bilingual Payroll/HR Assistant
PrideStaff is currently seeking a Bilingual Payroll/HR Assistant for an office located in Lockport, IL. This role is responsible for managing and processing payroll data, assisting with HR system administration, and facilitating positive employee relationships.

Responsibilities
Ensure accurate entry of all payroll data and process weekly payroll for all company branches
Address payroll associated issues, such as missing hours, and deductions
Prepare payroll reports and submit them to relevant personnel
Processing and submitting union payroll and certified payroll
Processing and submitting union reporting
Process monthly expense reimbursements and provide reports
Provide administrative support to HR Supervisor with multiple functions within HRIS system
Work closely with operation managers regarding new hires
Maintain and update employee records related to increases, deductions, terminations, and other employee data
Communicate and coordinate with other departments as necessary
Unemployment filing
Qualification
Required
Excellent verbal, listening, and written communication skills
Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to plan, monitor, prioritize and multitask
Working knowledge of payroll processes
Ability to handle data with confidentiality
Capability to remain composed under pressure
One or more years of payroll experience
One or more years of union payroll experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred
Bilingual English and Spanish preferred
Some College preferred
