Responsibilities
Accurately receive incoming packages, verify items against packing slips, and process them into the receiving system
Investigate and resolve issues related to lost, misdirected, or delayed mail and packages
Prepare pallets for transportation and move materials to dock staging areas
Coordinate internal and external mail and package pickups and deliveries
Deliver incoming mail and packages to customers and designated mail stops
Use computer applications to track, reroute, and document shipments
Perform administrative tasks including data entry, recordkeeping, and reporting
Operate material handling equipment for package movement and delivery
Maintain dock, cage, and work areas in a clean and safe condition
Provide backup support to mailroom, receiving, and package service areas as needed
Follow all corporate policies, procedures, and safety regulations
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED required
Ability to read, write, and enter information in English
Basic computer skills and ability to use internal systems
Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs, with frequent walking, standing, stooping, and climbing
Valid driver's license required when operating company vehicles
Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
Safety shoes required
