Responsibilities

Oversee all inventory activities, including monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and minimizing excess or obsolete inventory
Perform regular inventory audits and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance
Maintain precise, real-time inventory records within the inventory management system
Prepare and analyze reports on inventory levels, turnover, usage trends, and discrepancies for leadership review
Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely receipt and availability of materials to meet operational and project demands
Develop, document, and refine inventory management processes to improve efficiency and consistency
Partner with engineering, operations, procurement, and sales teams to forecast inventory needs based on project schedules and requirements
Train and oversee inventory staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and safety standards
Identify opportunities to enhance inventory workflows and implement improvements that reduce costs and increase efficiency
Stay informed on industry best practices, tools, and technologies related to inventory management

Required

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory management or a related role, preferably in manufacturing, construction, or a similar industry
Proficiency with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office applications
Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
