Responsibilities

Ensure alignment with East Coast hours for stakeholder engagement and project delivery
Lead and manage finance/global tariff-related projects
Oversee multiple workstreams (internal and external vendors), ensuring timely delivery of project milestones and objectives
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Legal, Supply Chain, and Compliance
Exhibits strong executive presence and confidently leads meetings with senior stakeholders, fostering alignment, driving clear decisions, and guiding teams effectively through ambiguity
Collect, review, and synthesize project plans from multiple external vendors and internal teams to build a comprehensive, integrated program plan. This includes identifying dependencies, aligning timelines, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring all workstreams are coordinated toward shared milestones and outcomes. The resulting plan should provide a single source of truth that enables effective tracking, reporting, and execution across the entire program
Collaborate with Finance teams as a priority, while leveraging Customs and Trade/Tariff expertise for compliance
This role requires the ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and create a sense of ownership and accountability throughout the program life cycle
Develop and execute Knowledge Transfer (KT) plans to ensure smooth handoffs and sustainability
Drive PMO best practices, governance, and reporting across all project phases
Lead and manage multiple complex workstreams across Customs, Trade, and Finance initiatives
Develop and maintain project plans, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies
Provide regular updates and reporting to senior leadership and key stakeholders
Ensure adherence to global trade compliance standards and company policies
Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to tariff management and global trade processes
Coordinate with internal stakeholders, TGS Business Partners, and external vendors to align on requirements and deliverables
Develop and manage comprehensive test plans and test cases for finance/supply chain systems
Coordinate system, integration, and regression testing using HP ALM or similar test management tools, ensuring full coverage of functional and non-functional requirements
Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business stakeholders, ensuring validation of cross-border payment workflows and compliance with global trade standards
Track and manage defects through resolution, collaborating with technical teams to ensure timely fixes and retesting
Ensure testing aligns with compliance, security, and data governance standards for Global Tariff operations
Prepare detailed test reports and dashboards to provide visibility into testing progress, defect status, and readiness for production deployment
Manage risk, issues, and dependencies, providing timely escalation and resolution
Prepare and deliver status reports, dashboards, and executive updates
Ensure adherence to compliance, security, and data governance standards throughout the project lifecycle
Liaison with stakeholders such as Product Owner, Business Analyst, Product Manager, Vendors, and End-users regarding project requirements
Manages project milestones to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, quality, and scope of project
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation according to BD’s project management life cycle guidelines
Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track the progress of the project including scope, critical success factors, deliverables, work breakdown structure, project schedule, budget, quality, resource plan, stakeholder management, and communications
Manage scope change requests and coordinate with the Project Owner for further action
Coordinate with business stakeholders and vendors for the seamless execution of projects
Measure project performance using appropriate project management tools
Prepare project status reports in coordination with the other PMO members
Understanding of Data Privacy and GDPR principles and requirements, including lawful data processing, consent management, and privacy-by-design practices to ensure compliance in global trade, customs, and supply chain operations

Required

Ability to work East Coast hours to support stakeholder engagement
Finance experience preferred over Customs and Trade experience
Demonstrated mastery in project governance, strategic planning, and end to end execution, complemented by strong executive presence and the ability to align diverse stakeholders around shared goals
Ability to consolidate all vendor and internal workstreams into a single, comprehensive integrated project plan that ensures alignment, clarity, and cohesive execution across the program
Experience developing and executing Knowledge Transfer (KT) plans
Strong PMO experience including governance, reporting, and risk management
Extensive Program/Project Manager experience with ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, global trade, supply chain, or related field
7+ years of experience in program or project management
Proven track record managing complex, multi-regional projects
Experience using PMBOK guidelines
Proficiency in Project Management Tools (e.g., Project, Smartsheet, PowerBI, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, and SharePoint)

Preferred

Master's degree in finance, global trade, or related field
PMP, SCRUM Certification, Prince II, or equivalent
Preferred experience in finance or global trade
Assess impacts on budgets, cost structures, and operational efficiencies
Understanding of Global Tariff standards and order/invoice payment processes
Experience with cross-border payments and financial messaging protocols
Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and payment file integrations
Knowledge of GxP, global trade compliance, data privacy, and data governance
