Responsibilities
Manage multistate payroll processing with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Serve as a payroll advisor—supporting clients with compliance questions, wage/hour issues, and best practices
Resolve payroll tax notices and collaborate with tax agencies to ensure compliance at the federal, state, and local levels
Conduct payroll audits, reconciliations, and assessments to identify discrepancies and improve workflows
Lead new client payroll system implementations and ensure seamless onboarding
Troubleshoot and maintain payroll systems to safeguard data integrity
Qualification
Required
3+ years of payroll experience, including multistate payroll
FPC required; CPP preferred
Strong experience with Gusto, ADP RUN, Paylocity, Evolution – Inova, and payroll tax reporting tools
Advanced Excel skills and comfort with HRIS/timekeeping integrations
Strong analytical, communication, and client service skills
