Responsibilities
Conducts inbound/outbound sales calls consulting customers on available loan products while exercising independent judgment by pre-qualifying financial clients
Establish trust and build rapport with clients
Understand, articulate, and educate clients on financial calculations, rates, and pricing
Analyze applicant financial status, credit and property to identify home loan solutions
Articulate cross-sell/cross referral opportunities
Strict adherence to phone schedules
Understand and manage underwriting, government, and compliance guidelines
Utilize systems to maintain product knowledge, register loans effectively & manage pipeline
Actively manage leads to meet targeted conversion rates
Partner with operations teams to provide exceptional service throughout the loan process from application to close
Compile appropriate documentation and communicate with customer during the process
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
Qualification
Required
2-4 years previous sales or finance experience
Sales oriented individual proficient with the following skills: professional oral and written communication, interpersonal, relationship building, follow up, computer experience and analytical thinking and problem solving
Must have the ability to prioritize, be detail oriented & results driven
Bilingual English/Spanish Required
High School diploma or equivalent required
This position requires the employee to register as a mortgage loan originator with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry ('Registry') and obtain a unique identifier from the Registry before engaging in mortgage loan originator activities
As part of this registration process, you must be fingerprinted unless you have fingerprints are on file with NMLS Registry that are less than 3 years old
This position further requires that you maintain and renew that registration on an annual basis, update registration information with the Registry on a timely basis, and provide your unique identifier to consumers as required by applicable SAFE Act regulations and Citi policies and procedures
