Responsibilities
Read, create, and interpret blueprints, component specifications, bills of materials, technical drawings, and schematics
Assist in designing new products and accessories as well as redesign existing products to improve functionality and efficiency
Draft and finalize drawings, marketing materials, technical documents, and owners manuals
Manage Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), research and development projects, and product improvements from concept to final release
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop detailed designs for mechanical components
Create designs using input from sales quotes, engineers, and manufacturing personnel
Solve manufacturing and assembly issues on the shop floor, ensuring both short- and long-term solutions
Maintain accurate project documentation and records
Provide technical support to sales, managers, marketing teams, and customer service representatives
Qualification
Required
Strong background in mechanical engineering and design
Ability to read, create, and interpret blueprints, component specifications, bills of materials, technical drawings, and schematics
Experience in designing new products and accessories as well as redesigning existing products to improve functionality and efficiency
Ability to draft and finalize drawings, marketing materials, technical documents, and owners manuals
