The Technical College System of Georgia is seeking an Administrative Assistant II to support grant-funded programs for the Apprenticeship and Business Services Teams. This role involves data entry, compliance monitoring, and providing technical assistance to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Facilitating grant-related participant applications and data entry related to TCSG’s grant programs
Data entry into the WorkSource Georgia Portal and other related data systems
Preparing data for grant-related reporting
Assist with preparation of reports
Assist with planning, supporting, and coordinating meetings, info sessions, to support employers in apprenticeship-related initiatives
Monitor grant activities for compliance with federal and state regulations
Assist with apprenticeship-related records retention
Provide technical assistance to stakeholders
Assist with grant closeout processes and related ad hoc reporting; and
Other duties as assigned

Required

Associates degree and One (1) year of related work experience OR High school diploma or equivalent and Two (2) years of related work experience
This role requires a high level of analytical and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Superior oral and written communication skills
Skills in interpersonal relations and customer service
Decision making and problem-solving skills

Preferred

Experience with data entry and WorkSource GA Portal
Previous experience working with a WIOA funded program
State or Federal grant management experience
Tracking and managing grant funds
